Beach Bunny is an American indie pop band from Los Angeles, California. The band consists of singer-songwriter Ali Koehler, formerly of the punk band Vivian Girls, and guitarist Jesse Jo Stark, daughter of artist Tony Stark and granddaughter of fashion designer Elsa Schiaparelli.
The band was formed in 2016 by Koehler and Stark, who were introduced to each other by a mutual friend. They began writing and recording songs together in Koehler's apartment, and released their first single, "Sugar," in November 2016.
Beach Bunny's music has been described as "breezy and catchy, with sun-drenched hooks and Ali Koehlers honeyed vocals." Their debut album, Beach Bunny, was released in May 2018.
The band has toured extensively in the United States and Europe, and has opened for acts such as HAIM, Grizzly Bear, and The War on Drugs.
